CBS12, Jackson, Miss..: 72 Arrested, 29 Rescued in a Mississippi Human Trafficking Bust

GRAYSON: “A two-week statewide law enforcement effort resulted in 72 arrests and the rescue of 29 human trafficking victims. Operation Guardian Force was led by the Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Task Force, Fentanyl Strike Force and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. According to Fitch, the operation worked in partnership with 400 federal, state and local law enforcement officers. She says the operation also included a sex offender compliance to check, to locate, and identify sex offender registry absconders.”
