Scott Jennings: It’s the Role of the Gov’t To Tell Educational Institutions that Maybe Students Are Having Their Civil Rights Violated

‘I mean, it’s a Civil Rights Act issue, is it not?’

EXCERPT:

JENNINGS: "I think Harvard has a couple of choices. Number one, it could act right. Or number two -- "

PHILLIP: "What is 'act right?'"

JENNINGS: "Stop having your student population that happens to be Jewish be terrorized. Stop the discrimination against certain kinds of populations on admissions."

PHILLIP: "Okay, but what if I told you they have attempted to do that on their own, without the help of the Trump Administration. And maybe, perhaps it‘s not the role of the government to tell them how to govern themselves."

JENNINGS: Well, I think, I think it is the role of the government to tell them that maybe these students are having their civil rights violated. I mean, it’s a Civil Rights Act issue, is it not?"
