Wine-Banks on Daniels’ Testimony in Trump’s N.Y. Trial: The Defense ‘Fell Flat’

‘It didn’t work, and it would not have worked no matter who was asking the questions’

RUSH EXCERPT:

WINE-BANKS: "There has been talk about the fact that it was a woman attorney questioning a woman who was a key witness, and going back to Watergate everybody said, oh you are questioning Rosemary Woods because you are a woman, and that isn’t at all what happened. Sometimes the gender of the questioner may make a difference, and it is relevant. In this case, I don’t think there was any difference in the type of questions that Susan was asking than if one of her male colleagues had been doing the asking. They really fell flat, and it didn’t work, and it would not have worked no matter who was asking the questions."
