KATYAL: “I think the most important thing is who's not indicted in Arizona, a guy named Donald Trump. The question is why? My thinking on that, he is named as an unindicted co-conspirator. And that is exactly what Richard Nixon was named in the Watergate case, indeed, right when the case went to the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court has some footnotes acknowledging that Nixon was an unindicted co conspirator. My guess is what they are doing here is giving Trump the same status as Nixon with the hope that they can flip one of the people they indicted yesterday, Mark Meadows or, you know, one of the others to give testimony against Donald Trump.”
