Democrat Slams ‘War on Medicad’ in Misspelled Sign on Senate Floor (The Washington Free Beacon)

Sen. Maria Cantwell (D., Wash.) used a misspelled visual aide slamming the Republicans' "War on Medicad" during a speech on the Senate floor Tuesday evening.

As Cantwell began to make a "second point" about the Senate Republican proposal to repeal Obamacare, one of her aides placed a large blue sign behind her that had "Medicaid" missing its second "i." If Cantwell noticed, she did not let on.

"In my opinion, there are cost-effective ways for us to continue access to health care. I brought them up on the Senate floor," she said.
