Pelosi Forgets What Day of the Week It Is

PELOSI: "Having said that, I spoke to the Speaker a week and a couple days ago — just last Friday. What is today? Is today Friday again? We look forward to speaking with him. He made the overture, and I respect that, but we have to talk about whether our top line is as to what we are — what our spending limits are as we go forward and how the subcommittees know what their number is so that they can write a bill. So it’s not — it’s just up to them to get moving, but we have — everything is behind schedule. We haven’t seen — the President says his — he says his tax bill is moving through Congress. There is no tax bill. The appropriations process is way behind. His health care bill is a job killer and really a person killer too, as a matter of fact. And so it’s a mess.”
