Friday good news delivery: Huge PR upgrade + new features
Dear Media Colleagues —
Most of us already know the limitations of transcript-based searches. If your client has a name that doesn't have an obvious phonetic pronunciation, it can be harder to find in media monitoring databases, compromising the thoroughness of news alerts. We're on a mission to solve this issue, and our new feature takes us a long way toward that goal.
To remedy speech-to-text mistranscriptions, Grabien is now offering mistranscription alert assistance as a hands-on service. If you schedule this service, we'll show you how it works, and help you set it up on your account. Our early feedback is very enthusiastic at much more comprehensive their alerts are.
During this early phase, this feature will be offered as a free courtesy to our existing enterprise clients. To request this service for your account, book a 5-10 minute call with Adam Zivich, here: meetings.hubspot.com/adam-zivich, or email adam@grabien.com with “Mistranscription Help” in the subject. Once he knows the people and terms you need to track, he will generate the right Alert clusters, setting them up directly in your Grabien account from the admin side.
Now, onto some platform upgrades (most of which come from client requests):
- On the Alert editing page, users now have the option "Include in HitsList," which is our daily AM recap of the previous 24 hours of alerts. Users can now differentiate so that only the most important alerts appear in their HitsList.
- Added the possibility to set a custom RTMP broadcasting key on the LiveShare page. This allows users to schedule several LiveShares at the same time. Currently, this feature is available for exclusive publishers only.
- Users can edit profiles and date in all clippers (the profiles block is collapsed by default). Users can select the format of the output file in LiveClipper/NewsClipper.
- If a user's account is inactive, upon login, the user now sees a message with a link to the page where they can reactivate the account by entering their payment information. This enables clients to access their account after a subscription lapsing, without staff assistance.
- Filter by date and export to Excel have been added to the Downloads page for users. In this way you can easily create a list of every download on your account.
- On the profile page, users can now enter an additional billing contact name, email, and address. If entered, any financial notifications will also be sent to this contact, and this information will be listed in the "Bill to" column on user invoices.
- On the profile page in the Email address row, users now have a new button that allows them to change the main account email.
- At the bottom of the profile page, users now have a button to request account deletion. From now on, for security reasons, we will delete accounts only by requests made with this button.
- If you have an old Grabien account and would like to migrate clips from that account to a current account, we're able to assist.
Plus various bug fixed and cosmetic updates.
And stay tuned, because next week we drop two huge new features.
Happy clipping,
Tom Elliott, Grabien
