Trump: ‘There Has Been Corruption’ in Puerto Rico and ‘We Can’t Have That’

TRUMP: "I am working very closely with the government on that because there has been corruption on the island and we can’t have that. We are sending a lot of supplies, sending tremendous amounts of food and water and everything. And I know your folks are working on that very hard. We just can’t have it. When it comes to Texas as an example, and Florida, you know how smooth that's been. It’s operating like a well-oiled machine. They are really going well and the people are working very hard. And in Puerto Rico, they are working hard too, but we have gotten some of those reports on a local basis. I think the governor will be able to do something about that. I hope you’ll be able to do something about that."
