NBC News correspondent Kier Simmons appeared on Morning JoeThursday to make a surprising revelation on the MNSBC show’s audience in the hermit kingdom.

Reporting from the North-South Korean border, Simmons first said he had spoked to a lieutenant colonel about Pyongyang’s assessment of the U.S.

“He quite plainly said he believes President Trump is mentally ill,” Simmons told Morning Joe. “And he was unequivocal in saying he believes North Korea could win a war with America.”
