It was a pretext in order to cover xenophobic, white nationalist, anti-muslim policies. That’s how they governed. Steve Bannon was there for six months. You can tell whether he believed sincerely in the policies, whether he cared for what they called the so-called forgotten people. He didn’t. He’s also a former Goldman Sachs guy this is not someone who cares about what regular people are going through. And neither is trump. I don’t think things will be economically more equal and as many pointed out this is still a white supremacist house. You still have Nazis in the house, you have Jeff Sessions, long time antagonist against civil rights and you have policies that back up these ideas in practice. It is more dangerous and more harmful than having him in the White House where he is somewhat contained
