Ned Ryun: Dems Playing Identity Politics with Monuments and It’s a Poison, a Cancer with No Good End

‘ My question is, where does this end?’

RUSH EXCERPT:

RYUN: "You know, Abby, a short while ago there was a speaker Pelosi and Senate majority leader Harry Reid. If this is so reprehensible now why wasn’t it reprehensible back then when they were actually in positions of the leader of the house and Senate. Let’s take up that noble cause and fight dead confederates. My question is Abby, where do you stop? You start with the confederate statues and start to look at Caesar Rodney and signed the declaration who owned slaves go to George Washington who also owned slaves. My question is where does this end? I made the argument it starts with the confederate statues it goes to the Founders and ultimately I know there are some on the left go after the other monuments of the Founders the Constitution. Instrument to say I understand. I get it, but at the same time why are we going back and relet gating parts of our history that in many ways we have already paid for the sins of what we have experienced. So they’re playing politics at this point and, Abby, the thing that I’m concerned about with this identity politics it is a poison, it is a cancer there is no good end with identity politics. Why can’t we move on and have serious conversations. Instead of talking about confederate statues. Why can’t we talk about healthcare reform and tax reform and infrastructure."
