Judge Nap on Possible Google Class Action Sexism Lawsuit: They Are a ‘Gimmick for Lawyers to Earn Money’

‘We all know what sexism is and the law doesn’t define it and the law doesn’t condemn it’

EXCERPT:

NAPOLITANO: "I’m happy to tell you that in my prior life I dismissed many of these because they were a gimmick for lawyers to earn money or to prove this philosophical or cultural point and the courtroom is not the place to do it. If there is a real pay disparity, I would prefer that the individuals who are the victims sue so that if and when they win, they are compensated and they are compensated the compensation they deserve, not some up divided nonsense after the lawyers get their fees. On that we generally agree."
